People Help The People - Birdy

Nella puntata di Amici di settimana scorsa è stata ospite Birdy, nome d'arte di Jasmine Van Der Bogaerde. L'avevamo già presentata su accordi del momento grazie alla canzone Wings, brano che fa parte della colonna sonora del film Storia D'Inverno.
Al serale di Amici Birdy ha duettato con Deborah cantando uno dei suoi pezzi più famosi, People Help The People (2007), tornato alla ribalta grazie proprio a questa esibizione.
Il brano, molto intenso, parla di come le persone stiano diventando sempre più avidi e indifferenti e pensano sempre più con le loro teste piuttosto che con i loro cuori. Le persone con un cuore gentile sono disposte a dare qualcosa, ma sempre più spesso non ottengono nulla in cambio.
La canzone è un inno alla solidarietà, ideale per accompagnare spot umanitari.
